- He is the first practicing Consultant Cardio-Physician and Intensivist of Ahmednagar district started his career in Evangeline Booth Hospital, Ahmednagar in 1979.
- Started the First ever Coronary Care, Critical Care and Trauma Unit of Ahmednagar District, in 1979.
- In Private Practice since 1981.
- Started DEEPAK HOSPITAL, the best of its kind in the entire Ahmednagar District with a fully equipped ICCU and Critical Care setup , including Monitoring, Dfib and Pacemaker facility and Computerized Stress Testing.
- Started 2D Echocardiography in 1986 and gradually upgraded the modality to its current level over the years.
- Participated in Specialised training and workshops related to Advancements in Cardiology with Critical Care and Advanced Echocardiography,at Texas Heart Institute, Houston , USA , at Northwick Park Hospital , under Dr. Roxy Senior and at JROP,New Delhi
