Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Department of Pathology at Saideep hospital is one of the largest services of its kind in Ahmednagar. Designed to include all the sub-specialities of laboratory medicine: Hematology & Immunohematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Histo- and Cyto-Pathology, the department of laboratory services provides comprehensive range of laboratory tests for diagnosis, management and prevention of a wide variety of diseases that facilitate clinical care in the hospital.
Our laboratory professionals work closely with the clinicians to provide excellent pathology services to both hospitalized patients and outpatients. Our laboratory services are a vital component of quick and accurate diagnosis, and subsequent treatment.
We are fully equipped to conduct a wide range of laboratory investigations that are important for patient care, such as routine blood, urine and other tests according to the needs of patients and consultants, which are carried out in a timely manner. We use reliable automated computerized analysers to conduct majority of our tests, and place great importance in accuracy, precision, efficiency and speedy reporting, while ensuring high standards.
The lab has a well defined quality management system, including a stringent internal quality control programme, as well as participation in the national and international proficiency testing programmes.
Our Hospital Information System for laboratory test management and reporting is fully integrated with our other systems.
