Dr. Deepak S.S. has been honoured as one of the "25 Visionaries of the World 2025" by the London
Organisation of Skill Development (LOSD) for his five-decade mission to revolutionize rural
healthcare in India. The award was presented on 10th July 2025 at the Committee Room
No:6, Houses of Parliament, London, celebrating his sustainable healthcare models that bridge
urban-rural disparities.

From Rural India to Global Leadership
- Pioneering Critical Care: In 1979, Dr. Deepak established Ahmednagar’s first CCU, the only ICU
between Pune and Nagpur at the time. - Healthcare Cooperatives: He launched Maharashtra’s first successful medical cooperative in 2019,
that is today’s Saideep Sahyadri Hospital at Ahilyanagar, empowering rural communities through
high quality care, yet affordable , training, and employment. - Future-Ready Initiatives: His vision includes robotic surgery, oncology centers, and medical tourism
and AI based medical therapies to position India as a global healthcare leader.

At Springkell, Scotland (15th July 2025), Dr. Deepak emphasized:Leaders must cultivate mental resilience—weakness in leadership weakens the entire system.
